Developmental Disabilities Nurses of New Hampshire

The Developmental Disabilities Nurses of New Hampshire (DDNNH) was established with the purpose of sharing knowledge and to serve as a resource for new developments in developmental disabilities nursing practice.

The DDNNH is committed to broadening the knowledge of all nurses and other professionals involved in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The DDNNH serves as  a mentor for new Nurse Trainers, and works in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Developmental Services.

The New Hampshire Administrative Rule establishes minimum standards for health coordination and defines the qualifications of Nurse Trainers who authorize providers administering medications to individuals receiving services from the Bureau of Developmental Services.

DDNNH serves to educate, empower, and advocate for nurses practicing in the specialty of developmental disability nursing.

Developmental Disabilities Nurses of New Hampshire (DDNNH), promotes the DDNA Mission Statement:

As nurses in the specialized field of developmental disabilities, our mission is to continue to develop our expertise in order to assure the highest quality of life to the people we serve throughout their life span.
